Erik has over nine years of experience in project design and management, client administration, development of construction drawings, and preparation of presentation graphics using Photoshop and SketchUp.  His involvement in WDA's site design projects extends from preliminary client meetings to schematic design to construction documentation and administration.  Erik is also responsible for presenting project designs and obtaining approvals from municipalities throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

Erik’s broad experience enables him to lend his expertise to a diverse range of project types.  He is currently assisting in site planning and permitting for a hotel, commercial space, and residential units for the Riverbridge Mixed-Use Village in Berlin, MA.  He is also part of the design team for new tennis courts and pedestrian walkways at Nichols College in Dudley, MA; the Holbrook PK-12 public school in Holbrook, MA; the South Main Street Streetscape in Providence, RI; and the Butler Farm Bark Park in Millbury, MA.  Erik is also providing construction administration services for the West Bridgewater Middle-Senior High School in West Bridgewater, MA.  His portfolio of past projects includes the landscape design for the Apponaug Circulator in Warwick, RI; site design for the Freeman-Kennedy School in Norfolk, MA; design and construction administration for Sherwood Park in Barrington, RI; and the landscape design for the Knowles Street Affordable Housing project in Providence, RI.

Erik has been involved with projects that have received awards from the University of Massachusetts, the American Society of Landscape Architects, and the Boston Society of Landscape Architects.  He has been a guest lecturer on roadway design and grading in the Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Rhode Island.  Prior to joining WDA, Erik served as construction administrator with Shearon Golf Management in Limerick, PA.  He worked in all aspects of golf course layout and construction, managed field crews, and implemented field design modifications.

Erik lives in southeastern Massachusetts with his wife and son.  He is an avid golfer and golf course design historian, travelling throughout the United States and Scotland to experience the world’s greatest courses.  During the winter months, Erik enjoys skiing with his friends at scenic resorts in Vermont and New Hampshire.  Erik also enjoys taking road trips with his family to visit and photograph the historic covered bridges of New England.
